Cash in on Your Tweets: Twitter Launches Revenue-Sharing Ad Program

Elon Musk Unveils New Ad Revenue Sharing Model to Empower Content Creators.

Twitter, recently rebranded as X by Elon Musk, is making strides in creator monetization by officially launching its Ads Revenue Sharing program. Designed to help creators earn directly from the platform, the program is now open for applications. Previously, some creators received initial payouts, but the program is now globally available to users who meet specific criteria. Here’s everything you need to know about how you can start earning from your Twitter content.

What is Ads Revenue Sharing?

The Ads Revenue Sharing program allows you to earn a share of revenue from organic impressions of ads displayed in replies to your content on X (Twitter). This initiative is part of a larger effort by X to enable users to earn a living directly on the platform. Alongside Ads Revenue Sharing, creators can also independently set up Creator Subscriptions.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Ads Revenue Sharing program, you must:

  • Be subscribed to X Premium (formerly known as Twitter Blue) or be a Verified Organization.
  • Have at least 5M organic impressions on your cumulative posts within the last three months.
  • Have at least 500 followers.

If you meet these criteria, you are eligible to participate.
